Talking About US Debt

When looking at National Debt FAQs, United States has debt that has only been increasing. In 2000, the United States only had about 18 billion dollars that was added to the debt. From 2001-2010, this amount has continued to increase. The years where the highest amount of debt was added on was in 2008, 2009, and 2010. Currently the amount of national debt per person in the United States would add up to $44,900. This debt needs to get under control. My son and I talked about the debt, and hopefully it will go down during his lifetime.
