The Hallux Rigidus
September 29th, 2010
The big toe articulation with the feet are an enormously critical however less appreciated articulation. Whenever we ambulate, the body needs to pivot ahead above that big toe joint. If you experience a thing incorrect with that hallux joint, then moving forward will be much harder. One common problem with the big toe joint has the name hallux rigidus and takes place when the first MPJ doesn’t flex. The most frequent root cause of this concern can be osteoarthritis of the joint. The first MP joint is often unpleasant simply to walk about on. Really the only treatment method with this is actually some sort of modification for the footwear thus we are able to still rocker forward or perhaps surgical procedure.
